Singing has always been a passion and I have been actively singing for several years and have learned Hindustani Clasical music from Mrs. Mrinalini Arkatkar Ji for about 6 years. Listening to my Father's bhajan/Bhakti Geet recitals each morning have helped spark the bond of music in me and my entire family.

Lately, I have started playing Cajon and learning Percussion Pads.

My musical journey started even before I knew myself. As per my family I used to recite poems and songs all day long when I was just learning to talk. The passion continued throughout. Also got an opportunity to sing at AIR Delhi. I recently started learning Hindustani classical music from Mrs. Mrinalini Arkatkar ji. Music is passion for me. Love every bit of it!!

Padmaja

My musical journey began in childhood with classical music training for a brief period and performances at school events. After taking a sabbatical for many years to focus on career and family responsibilities, I joyfully returned to singing a few years ago and rekindled my passion for music. I have completed a few voice training courses at Shankar Mahadevan Academy. I now enjoy performing at karaoke and community events, singing across languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, and Marathi.

I believe that music is world's mother tongue. Plants, birds, animals, humans all have their own music and everyone enjoys it. For me its the oxygen to my soul. Love every form of music and can't choose one or two. I try to play guitar, piano, harmonium, cajon, kazoo and some percussions.

Arvind

My love for music was first sparked by my father, whose passion for Raag-based Kirtan and wistful oldies filled our home with warm, nostalgic melodies. That early inspiration grew into a lifelong exploration of diverse traditions, from Gurbani sangeet, Indian classical, and regional music to Western styles and choir harmonies. Along the way, experimentation with various instruments has continuously shaped my musical journey, with the guitar and harmonium being my longtime favorites. Most recently, I have embraced the Dilruba to deepen my appreciation for heritage sangeet. To me, music is a divine pursuit of learning, creativity, and connection, and every performance is an opportunity to share that joy with others.

Priya

Priya Zachariah is an Indian American singer from Dallas, Texas. She was trained in Classical Hindustani music by Mr. Jawwad Qureshi and continues to learn under his guidance. A budding artist, Priya’s passion for Hindi music has pushed her to recently start recording on her own.

In another life, I probably would have been a professional musician. For now, music remains a lifelong passion. I have been learning and practicing the tabla for the past 21 years, primarily in the Farrukhabad gharana, under the guidance of Shri Priyabrata Chail, Pandit Gobindo Bose, and Pandit Anindo Chatterjee. While my training is rooted in Indian classical and semi-classical music, my growing interest in fusion has led me to explore the cajón and other percussion styles. I particularly enjoy jamming with fellow musicians, experimenting with rhythms, and bringing together musical traditions ranging from ragas and ghazals to contemporary music.

Born into a family of musicians, my musical journey began at an early age, with both my parents, Smt. Suparna Banerjee and Shri Prabir Banerji, playing an instrumental role as my lifelong mentors. At the age of four, I began my training in Hindustani classical music under the guidance of my uncle, Shri Prabhat Banerji, in the Chinmoy Lahiri gharana, continuing for 18 years. I have performed at numerous musical shows and cultural events, exploring diverse genres, ranging from semi-classical music to contemporary music. Besides vocal music, I have also developed a keen interest in musical instruments, particularly the guitar and synthesizer. Inspired by my father, who is a musician and music teacher, I am currently learning to play the synthesizer under his guidance.
